Embossed lambskin in onyx. Available to order by the hide in 3-4 and 4-5 square foot hides. As with any real skin, there may be slight variations in dye color, shape, and size.
This medium weight leather is very textured and features a semi-soft black backside. The embossed lambskin is quite scale-like and has an intentionally distressed look that may continue to age with gentle abrasion and movement. These hides are structural while remaining flexible, making them ideal for use in apparel projects, upholstery, and accessory construction (ex. bags, wallets).
These leathers are recovered from high-end designers in New York City, sold as a sustainable alternative to destruction and discard in landfill.
