In this Fall 2023 TT477 course), students will be required to analyze a printed, woven fabric to identify the cost components of making that fabric. Based on their analysis, each student must then offer recommendations on how the fabric can be made less expensively, without significantly changing the aesthetics and performance, or reducing the quality.

Five fabrics have been pre-selected by the course Instructor for this project. Students must choose among the five pre-selected fabrics, on a first come / first served basis. Students who select a fabric that becomes out of stock must select the other, remaining fabric. Students living outside the United States and who do not have a relative in the United States to whom the fabric can be shipped, should contact the course Instructor, Professor Bishop, before ordering.
