Calf-hide suede in a sage green color. Available to order as an approximate 11-12 square foot hide piece. As with any real skin, there may be slight variations in dye color, shape, and size.
This heavy suede is extremely soft and supple, with a clear face but a finished sueded backside that allows for use in a double-sided project. This suede has some drape to it, making it useful for apparel projects, as well as in upholstery, footwear, or accessories (ex. bags, purses, wallets). Some edges have been cut on this hide, it does not retain its fully natural shape. Price is discounted to reflect a small 1" mar near one edge.

These leathers are recovered from high-end designers in New York City, sold as a sustainable alternative to destruction and discard in landfill.
