Cowhide suede in maple brown. Available to order as a 8-9 square foot hide. As with any real skin, there may be slight variations in dye color, shape, and size.
This midweight suede is extremely soft and supple, with a clear face but a finished sueded backside that allows for use in a doublesided project. This suede has some drape to it, making it useful for apparel projects, as well as in upholstery, footwear, or accessories (ex. bags, purses, wallets).
These leathers are recovered from high-end designers in New York City, sold as a sustainable alternative to destruction and discard in landfill.
