Lambskin leather in a rich wine color with dark mauve suede backside. Available to order as a 6-7 square foot hide. As with any real skin, there may be slight variations in dye color, shape, and size.
This lightweight leather is very smooth on the face, with an extremely soft suede backside, possible for double-sided projects. Marked as 0.7-0.9mm thickness. This hide is drapey, making it ideal for use in lightweight apparel projects, accessory or footwear construction, or as lining.
These leathers are recovered from high-end designers in New York City, sold as a sustainable alternative to destruction and discard in landfill.
