      ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Ashley Kurth-Reinhart is an artist, educator, and the founder of Paloma Vintage Designs, an upcycled jewelry and accessories brand that transforms vintage costume jewelry and reclaimed materials into bold, modern statement pieces. Passionate about sustainability and creative reuse, she believes discarded materials deserve a second life and that fashion can be both beautiful and environmentally responsible.

With more than 20 years of experience creating community engagement and arts education programs for cultural organizations, Ashley brings a passion for helping people connect through creativity. She is also the founder of the ReFashion Show, a sustainable fashion event that celebrates designers working with reclaimed materials while inspiring audiences to rethink the environmental impact of fashion. Through workshops, community partnerships, and advocacy work, she encourages others to see waste as a valuable creative resource.

As a longtime supporter of FABSCRAP, Ashley incorporates reclaimed leather and other
rescued materials into her work and enjoys sharing practical upcycling techniques that empower makers of all skill levels to create with intention while reducing textile waste.
