Cowhide suede in an earthy moss color. Available to order as an approximate 5-6 square foot hide piece. As with any real skin, there may be slight variations in dye color, shape, and size.
This midweight suede is extremely soft and supple, with a clear face but a finished sueded backside that allows for use in a double-sided project. This suede has some drape to it, making it useful for apparel projects, as well as in upholstery, footwear, or accessories (ex. bags, purses, wallets).
Please note that leather hides are excluded from free shipping.
These leathers are recovered from high-end designers in New York City, sold as a sustainable alternative to destruction and discard in landfill.
