“Samples” are pre-consumer garments recycled from our client's design offices. Brands send us their sample garments, both perfect and imperfect, to be given another life. Imperfect samples may come with mutilations ranging from small tears, to larger cut-outs, to markings; perfect samples are carefully inspected and feature no discernible damage. "Samples" are ideal for upcycling projects such as mending, patching, cropping, and more!
These garments have never been worn and may need some love and care to be made whole!
Sample packs are available by the pound. One pound usually includes:
- Tops: 1-2 garments
- Bottoms: 1-2 garments
- Dresses: 1 dress
- Outerwear: 1 outerwear garment
Feel free to make specific requests for size, garment type, and color in the drop down menus. We will do our best to fulfill your requests based on the inventory we have in stock - no guarantees! If you have any additional requests, please enter those during checkout by clicking "Any special fabric requests?" at the bottom of your cart.
These garments are recovered from high-end designers in New York City, sold as a sustainable alternative to destruction and discard in landfill.
